In an unintentional way, Apple "admitted" iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 Series users do not need to upgrade to iPhone 15.
Recently, Apple gave reasons why users should buy a new iPhone and the company has a new page, allowing Ifan to compare iPhone 12; iPhone 13 Series with the latest iPhone 15 series.
However, this comparison does not include the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series. In other words, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series users do not need to upgrade to iPhone 15.
Apple: "You don't need to upgrade iPhone 15 from iPhone 14 or iPhone 13"!?
In fact, Apple's new iPhone comparison site aims to help iPhone users find exactly what they're missing if they're using an older iPhone versus the newest iPhone model.
The focus of the upgrades on the iPhone 15 series is the 48MP main camera. They have zoom capabilities without sacrificing image quality and come with Action and Cinema modes. Before the appearance of the USB-C port on the new iPhone, Apple knew "The USB-C port will help users charge their Mac, iPad or PC with the same cover as the iPhone 15".
Experts say that Apple's attempt to convince users to upgrade to iPhone 15 is quite unconvincing. The company should introduce more attractive elements such as Megasafe charging, smooth 120Hz screen, long battery life and image quality... of the iPhone 15 series, especially the iPhone 15 Pro pair.
Apple was right! iPhone 13 users (probably) don't need an iPhone 15.
Of course, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is a strong upgrade over the standard iPhone 14 or iPhone 13 models. After all, the iPhone 14 is essentially the same phone as the iPhone 13, which makes the iPhone 15 a bigger upgrade. But the same is not true for iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro users.
Even though the iPhone 13 mini isn't as snappy, it's still just as fast as the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The biggest difference in performance can be easily noticed when relaunching the application. In this regard, the iPhone 15 Pro is much better thanks to more (and faster) RAM.
Not to mention, many users also find that the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a longer usage life than the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Regarding the camera, the camera on the iPhone 13 is still quite impressive. Users can still take some great photos and videos. Of course, the iPhone 13 does not have the same resolution, light sensitivity range or zoom as the iPhone 15, but it is still usable.
Both the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini still take excellent photos in almost any condition - even if owners have to edit them to look better. And usually, millions of iPhones 15 Pro Max users often have to edit photos even though they have a better camera cluster.
Does Ifan need to upgrade iPhone every year?
In fact, the new iPhones have very few upgrades compared to the previous model. Apple's (implied) answer is that the latest iPhone is actually made for people who are still using 3–5-year-old iPhones and experts also agree with this point of view.
Some Android smartphone users will be completely satisfied with "upgrading to an iPhone every 2 years" even though they won't notice a difference. However, with a two-year upgrade cycle, older iPhone users will notice the difference more clearly.
According to reviewers, the standard iPhone models are essentially just “S” versions of last year's phones, and the new iPhone Pro models are the “true new iPhones.”
For example, those upgrading to the iPhone 15 Pro Max from the standard iPhone 13 will see many notable differences. Meanwhile, those who upgrade to iPhone 15 Pro Max from iPhone 13 Pro Max will notice not too much of a difference.
