Reno12 - Oppo's mid-range 'AI phone'.

The Reno12 and Reno12 Pro duo have a new design, increased durability, water resistance and integrate many AI features.

Reno12 and Reno12 Pro went on sale from July 10 for 13 million and 18.99 million respectively, two million VND higher than the previous generation. The product competes with outstanding smartphone series such as Xiaomi 13T series, Galaxy S23FE or Vivo V30.

Reno12 series is Oppo's first smartphone line equipped with AI features. The company said it will bring artificial intelligence technology to all of its smartphones from low-cost to high-end in the near future.

The Reno12 series returns to the familiar rectangular camera cluster design, with a 50-megapixel main camera that supports OIS and an 8-megapixel super wide-angle lens. The difference is that Reno12 has an additional 2-megapixel macro lens, while Reno12 Pro uses a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.

The Pro version is equipped with a 50-megapixel front camera - the highest currently on the market, while the standard version keeps a resolution of 32 megapixels.

The shooting features are no different from the previous generation. Oppo still focuses on the ability to shoot portraits but adds new AI to sharpen faces. When taking group photos of three or more people, AI automatically recognizes which faces are blurry or underexposed to adjust sharpness or recognizes which subjects in the photo have closed eyes to recreate open eyes.
