5 features Apple didn't announce on iOS 18.

The iOS 18 beta has some features that Apple hasn't mentioned yet, such as restarting the iPhone without pressing the hardware button, sharing wifi passwords using QR.

With the first public beta of iOS 18 Public Beta, users can try out features such as interface customization, call recording or RCS messaging. However, some new functions have also been discovered, although Apple did not announce it when launching iOS 18 in mid-June.

To use, users go to Settings > Passwords > Wi-Fi > tap the network they want to share and then tap Show network QR code. This method only applies to wifi passwords, not regular passwords.

Adjust the beam width of the flashlight.

Old iOS can adjust the intensity of the flashlight, but iOS 18 also allows you to adjust the beam width as desired. To use the new feature, users need to turn on the flashlight, then the user interface will appear on Dynamic Island.

If you find your home screen cluttered, you can rearrange your app icons. On iPhones running iOS 18, you can also hide app names by pressing and holding the screen until the icons "shake," then selecting Edit > Customize > Large. Now the app icons are slightly larger, and the app labels disappear.
