Singer's rep denies 'Justin Bieber is on drugs' rumors after some fans raised concerns about his bizarre behaviors.
According to TMZ, Justin Bieber's rep said that rumors about the singer's physical and mental health are negative and harmful fabrications. The rep confirmed that the 30-year-old singer is living a happy life with his wife, model Hailey Bieber, especially after they welcomed their first son in August 2024.
"This year has been a very transitional year for Justin as he has ended some close friendships and business relationships that are no longer appropriate," the rep added.
The two-time Grammy-winning singer is said to be focusing on supporting Hailey with their son and prioritizing his personal health as well as new artistic projects.
Earlier this year, Justin worried fans when he repeatedly appeared with red eyes and dark circles, and a gaunt, emaciated appearance. Some fans wondered "was it due to drugs?". Others thought that Justin might be dealing with some mental health issues.
A source for TMZ explained that the Stay singer looked haggard earlier this month because he had been in the recording studio all night. Before going to the studio, he also had to take care of his son Jack Blues - who was having trouble sleeping.
Fans were also confused when Justin unfollowed a series of former friends and mentors, even his father-in-law and wife on Instagram. Last week, many pointed out Justin's strange behavior at his wife's skin care promotion event in Los Angeles. A viral video showed Justin laughing and swaying while talking to Sara Tan, the beauty director of Refinery29. He also grabbed his pants and wore sunglasses inside the evening event.
A few days later, Justin got angry at a paparazzi for taking a photo and saying thank you. The singer said the thank you was disrespectful and unnecessary and to leave him alone.
After fans called for "someone to help him," a source told Page Six that Hailey was "really worried" about her husband and "not sure how to handle things right now." The source added: "Justin is going through a tough time and Hailey is trying her best to be there for him, but there's only so much she can do."
