Sony has just launched the ZV-E10 II, the second generation of the ZV-E10 vlogging camera series. The ZV-E10 II still retains the vlogging features of the original, typically Product Showcase (product introduction), Background Defocus (1-button background blur), Soft Skin Effect (skin smoothing), wireless livestreaming with a multi-angle flip screen, and continues to improve to enhance features and convenience.
The ZV-E10 II's internal hardware has been upgraded from the previous generation with a 26-megapixel (MP) Exmor R CMOS sensor and Sony's BIONZ XR image processor. Other improvements include an upgraded autofocus and video recording system, Creative Look (in-camera presets), Cinematic Vlog settings, a vertical control interface, a high-capacity Z series battery, and more.
With 4K 60p recording at Full HD 120p resolution in clear XAVC-S quality, users can capture moving moments using S&Q mode with 5x slow motion effect (when playing back at 24p). The Product Showcase feature helps shoot product videos by switching the focus from the face to the product.
Along with that, the Background Defocus feature adjusts the depth of field and creates background bokeh with just one touch. Or the Face Priority Auto-Exposure feature instantly recognizes faces and measures optimal exposure for faces, even when filming in a constantly changing lighting environment. Soft Skin Effect helps smooth and reduce imperfections on the subject's skin.
Users can easily connect the camera to other devices via the USB 3.2 Type-C port (SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps), or transfer wired to a compatible smartphone or PC via the Creator App. In particular, the product also supports livestreaming via 5GHz Wi-Fi connection.
