"I spoke to one of his family members. Somehow his neck was injured, and it affected his spinal cord and some other parts of his body," Terry Stone shared.

“His girlfriend told him to go to the doctor, but he initially refused and just applied heat,” the source added. “He then went to the doctor and was taken straight to the emergency room, where he was told his life was in danger.”

Before going into surgery, Terry Stone said, Nick was told he might never walk or talk again. It was a difficult and risky surgery because there are so many nerves around his neck and spine. Doctors successfully removed four of the actor’s neck bones and replaced them with artificial ones.

The Harry Potter star has now undergone surgery, but it will take a long time to recover. “Nick can talk now, which is a good sign. But he walks like a 100-year-old, has to wear a neck brace and move around gently,” Stone said.

Nick Moran was born in 1969, is an English actor, director and screenwriter. He is known for his role as Eddie in the film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) directed by Guy Ritchie. After that, the actor's name became famous after participating in 2 parts of the blockbuster Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, as Scabior.

In addition to acting, Nick Moran is also a director, having directed a number of films such as Telstar: The Joe Meek Story (2008) or The Kid (2010). Nick also has a passion for singing, being the lead singer of a band that often performs at charity events in London.
