The iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are said to support users to record videos with the front and rear cameras at the same time.
Jon Prosser, the owner of the Front Page Tech channel who has shared a lot of accurate information about Apple products, said that a new camera feature that could appear on the iPhone 17 Pro is dual recording, allowing users to activate both the front and rear cameras.
Currently, many Android phones from Oppo, Samsung, Xiaomi... already have this feature. Some applications such as Snapchat also provide similar tools, which are considered useful for content creators on video platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. They can easily overlay their faces when filming outside scenes, helping viewers clearly see their expressions and reactions in real time.
Jon Prosser also shared a render of iOS 19 based on internal leaks. In it, the app icons are more rounded but not as round as visionOS or watchOS. Some icons have a shimmering effect when users move the device.
Meanwhile, another "rumor expert," Sonny Dickson, also posted a photo of two transparent cases, believed to be for the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, showing the size of the new camera cluster. The cluster is quite large, possibly because Apple needs more space for the telephoto lens with a 48-megapixel sensor.
The iPhone 17 Pro generation is also expected to return to using an aluminum case instead of titanium, like on the 16 Pro, with an A19 Pro processor and increased RAM to 12 GB.
The 2025 iPhone is expected to launch in September with 4 versions: iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. Of these, the iPhone 17 Air is a completely new line with an ultra-thin design, replacing the current Plus model.
