The eldest son of the Becks, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, did not publicly celebrate their father's 50th birthday on May 2 amid family feuds.
British media reported that on the occasion of Becks' 50th birthday, his whole family chartered a plane to the south of France to enjoy wine in Bordeaux before flying to Paris for dinner on May 1. Brooklyn and his wife did not attend, The Sun said. The possibility of the eldest Becks attending his father's birthday party at the Core restaurant in London on May 2 is also open.
"David had the most amazing day and felt really pampered. Victoria did her best. It was a perfect day, although sadly, Brooklyn couldn't come. So, everything is still uncertain. There is definitely a lot of stress at the moment, but David just wants to focus on the positives and what will come will come. Tonight is a big party in London with famous friends and family friends. Brooklyn and his wife Nicola were invited, but they haven't said whether they will come or not, even though they are in London. However, they are in touch," The Sun reported on May 2.
The Daily Mail said the lunch in France was a "private family event," but it is unclear whether Brooklyn and his wife attended. Becks' new age activities are said to last until the end of the week. A few days ago, the Beck's son and his wife, Nicola Peltz, both posted photos in London, England. Fans and British media speculated that the couple reunited with their parents and siblings, dispelling rumors of a rift with their family that had been circulating for the past month.
While the eldest son and his wife remained silent, Vic and their two sons, Romeo and Cruz, both posted to celebrate Becks' 50th birthday. The former Spice Girls member revealed two videos in two consecutive days. The day before Becks' birthday, Vic posted a video of her and her husband hugging and dancing at an early party. The fashion designer praised Becks as her best friend, soulmate, and lifelong dance partner, using the lyrics of her favorite song to talk about their love.
In a post on the day Becks turned 50, summarising his most memorable moments, Vic wrote: "When I look at this video, I have to say how lucky I am. You are everything I could ever dream of and more. Happy 50th @davidbeckham. I love you and our beautiful family so much. You complete me."
"Happy birthday to the best role model, love you so much, Dad," the second son, Romeo, wrote as a caption to a childhood photo with his dad. The youngest son, Cruz, posted a series of posts on his Instagram Story with thoughts about his love for his dad. The youngest daughter, Harper, has not yet used social media.
Becks also posted a new birthday post on his personal page. He said he felt truly lucky and grateful to his teammates, country, fans, people he met and worked with... However, the former England captain said his greatest achievement was his family including his parents, grandparents, sisters and wife and children, whom he considered his whole world.
