Rihanna surprised everyone when she appeared with a baby bump on the red carpet of the Met Gala 2025 fashion festival. The 37-year-old star wore a unique Marc Jacobs menswear outfit, including a short suit jacket, a wool bustier, and a pleated diagonal striped skirt that accentuated her waist.
On the red carpet, Rihanna walked briskly in high heels despite her large baby bump. The singer told ET reporters that she "felt very well" throughout her pregnancy.
Before going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rihanna was photographed leaving the Carlyle Hotel in a tight gray outfit that exposed her belly. This was the first time she showed her baby bump since having her third child.
Rihanna's boyfriend, rapper A$AP Rocky, arrived early to the Met Gala as host of the event and confirmed the good news of the upcoming baby. "It feels amazing. It's time to reveal the good news!" A$AP Rocky said as reporters congratulated him on the red carpet.
Rihanna and the American rapper already have two sons, three-year-old RZA and 18-month-old Riot. While pregnant with her second child, Dimonds also surprised fans when she appeared with a big belly on the Super Bowl LVII stage in 2023.
The couple has often appeared together at the Met Gala since dating in 2020 because they both love fashion and have similar styles. Last year, Rihanna missed the event at the last minute due to the flu.
