X account @smashx_60 has just revealed that HMD will soon launch the Skyline G2 smartphone model with the design style of Nokia's past Lumia 1020.
The tweet from @smashx_60 shows that HMD is not only interesting with the Lumia 920 style Skyline but is also creating something even more interesting with the Skyline G2 model.
According to previous renderings, the front of the HMD Skyline phone model is similar to the Nokia Lumia 920 design, while the back of the HMD Skyline G2 will resemble the Lumia 1020 and adopt the Oreo circular camera cluster design.
The report adds that the HMD Skyline G2 is still under development and is far from being officially released. Before that, the company will deploy the first Skyline, possibly in July or August this year.
