Galaxy Buds3 Pro, one of the products Samsung launched last week, has had to temporarily stop selling.
A new report shows that Samsung has temporarily stopped selling Galaxy Buds3 Pro due to quality control issues. This was recorded not long after the Galaxy Buds3 Pro went on sale in Korea earlier this week.
According to the report, quality control issues began to appear soon after the product hit shelves, the most notable of which were poor headphone joints, blue stains on the headphones, and the case hinges. loose, scuffed or scratched on the container lid. In addition, the Galaxy Bud3 Pro headphones were also noted to be not in the correct position inside the box.
Furthermore, a Reddit user reported that they received an email from Samsung asking to stop selling the Galaxy Buds3 Pro after the company conducted a product quality check. Not only Reddit, but the Samsung Korean community forum is also filled with complaints about Galaxy Buds3 Pro quality control.
One user has claimed that Samsung will soon fix the quality control issues and resell the headphones on July 24. However, that is not the case because Samsung's official website currently reports that the sale of the Galaxy Buds3 Pro has been delayed from July 24 to August 28.
The report also noted that in the US and other markets, Best Buy's website does not allow users to pre-order the Galaxy Buds3 Pro and only says "coming soon". Amazon is also affected by this issue and has completely removed the Galaxy Buds3 Pro listing, with the page leading to a text that roughly translates to “Sorry, we couldn't find that page.”
In a statement acknowledging the problem, Samsung said: “We sincerely apologize for any quality issues you may have experienced with some of the products you purchased during the pre-opening period. sell. If you experience any inconvenience with the purchased product, you can go to the nearest service center for appropriate measures such as return or refund. We will try our best to thoroughly test every process before the official domestic launch on the 24th to avoid similar incidents from happening again.”
Notably, the regular model, the Galaxy Buds3, is still available for pre-order from Samsung and Amazon with a launch date of 24/7. So, the problem seems to only appear on the Galaxy Buds3 Pro at this time.
