Based on leaked images and information, the iPhone 17 Air is recreated in video form to help users visualize Apple's super-thin phone model.

The design of the iPhone 17 Air is super thin.

At the end of January, "rumor expert" Majin Bu posted a photo of what is believed to be the iPhone 17 Air with the Apple logo and a horizontal camera cluster on the body, but with only one hole for the lens, the remaining hole is smaller, possibly for the flash.

Similarly, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of research firm TF Securities said that the thinnest point on the Air version is about 5.5 mm, but will be thicker at the protruding camera part, possibly more than 6 mm. Because it is so thin, Apple only equipped a rear lens on the device with a resolution of 48 megapixels. The pill-shaped camera cluster takes up most of the width.

Based on that information, WEIS Studio created a real video of the iPhone 17 Air. Unlike the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, which focus on high-end hardware, the iPhone 17 Air focuses on aesthetics, so it does not have a powerful configuration but has a slim design and creates a new feeling for the iPhone line.

At 5.5mm, the iPhone 17 Air would be the thinnest iPhone ever, surpassing the 2014 iPhone 6's record of 6.9mm. This is also 30% thinner than the iPhone 16 (7.8mm) or iPhone 16 Pro (8.25mm).

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to replace the Plus when it launches alongside other iPhone 17 models in September. It will be priced similarly to the Plus model, starting at $800, in the mid-range segment with a 6.6-inch screen and an A19 chip. It has a custom modem designed by Apple but does not support the fastest mmWave 5G band.
