Former midfielder David Beckham has revealed the embarrassing moment when Victoria's mother Jackie Adams noticed his underwear photos.
Speaking at an event in London on Wednesday, Becks said his mother-in-law told him that she and her friends had "zoomed in" on his latest underwear photos and commented that "they could see everything". The 49-year-old former midfielder joked about the embarrassing moment: "I told her not to zoom in anymore."
His wife, Victoria, also expressed her admiration for the images of her husband shirtless, showing off his toned body. The 50-year-old fashion designer, a former Spice Girl, posted a close-up photo of him in underwear on Instagram with the caption "My boss".
Becks added that he had trained for 14 weeks before the photoshoot and cut "good food and wine" from his diet. The former footballer had advertised underwear for Armani 10 years ago and never thought of doing it again.
"I told my team that I would not advertise underwear again. But after signing the contract with Boss and knowing that they had an underwear advertising campaign, I was under a lot of pressure at that time, but in the end I agreed and trained," he shared.
In a recent interview with Men's Health, Becks boasted that his body "feels better than ever". His secret is playing padel three times a week and exercising every day. The former England captain said that turning 50 doesn't bother him "as long as my family and I are healthy". However, Becks is still "heartbroken" as his children grow up and leave the couple's arms.
