'Wonder Woman' star Gal Gadot, mother of four daughters, shares how she balances her career and personal life.
At her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony this week, Gal Gadot joked that she always has to choose between "making movies or being a mother". "Whenever success comes, I always get pregnant. That's how I keep myself calm. I tell my agents that too," the 39-year-old actress said.
Gal Gadot currently has four children: Alma, 13, Maya, seven, Daniella, three, and Ori, one. In her speech, Gadot thanked her four kids, saying they inspire her every day to be a better person.
However, Gal Gadot said she has no plans to get pregnant again. She had complications when she was eight months pregnant with her fourth child, and had to undergo emergency surgery early last year due to a blood clot in her brain.
The 8X beauty, who was crowned Miss Israel 2004 before becoming famous with the movie Fast and Furious five years later, revealed that she owes her success today partly to her husband's support. "He always reminds me to dream and to be free to do whatever I want," Gadot said.
She confided: "My career has been a wild adventure and through it all, my husband has been there for me. It's impossible to put into words what he means to me: he's my rock, my compass, my inspiration and my best friend. He inspires me to dream so much... I wouldn't be here without him."
Gal Gadot and real estate businessman Jaron Varsano got married in 2008 in Israel. The couple settled in Tel Aviv and welcomed their first children there. Later, to help Gal develop her acting career, the whole family moved to the US and settled in Los Angeles. In 2019, she and her husband founded the film production company Pilot Wave.
In Hollywood, Gal Gadot initially made her mark as a female action star in the Fast and Furious series (participating in films in 2009, 2013 and 2015). However, it was not until 2017 that the Israeli beauty's career really took off when she played Wonder Woman in the film of the same name in the DC cinematic universe. After that, the beauty queen continued to play the lead role in Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) and action films Red Notice (2021), Heart of Stone (2023), Snow White (2025).
On March 18, Gal Gadot was honored with the 2,804th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, recognizing her talent, dedication, and great impact on the American entertainment industry.
