Xiaomi launches smartphone that "destroys" many competitors.

Xiaomi has introduced the most powerful smartphone in its Poco F7 family, the Poco F7 Ultra.

Although the Poco F7 Ultra is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro, it can also be seen as a larger version of the Xiaomi 15 with many impressive flagship features.

Poco F7 Ultra comes in 2 color options.

Poco F7 Ultra is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, combined with up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB internal memory, promising to bring outstanding performance. In particular, with a price of about 649 USD for the 12/256 GB configuration, Poco F7 Ultra is one of the most affordable phones with Qualcomm's high-end chip. Snapdragon 8 Elite is also the chip equipped on Samsung's Galaxy S25 smartphone, which is much more expensive.

In terms of camera, Poco F7 Ultra is equipped with a triple rear camera system with a main lens (50 MP), a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2.5x zoom and a 32 MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, the phone is equipped with a 32 MP camera for high-quality selfies.

This phone has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Notably, this is the first time the Poco line has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen, enhancing security with the ability to collect 3D fingerprint data. The Poco F7 Ultra's screen is protected by Shield Glass instead of the familiar Corning Gorilla Glass.

The Poco F7 Ultra can be fully charged in less than 35 minutes.

Poco F7 Ultra is equipped with a 5,300 mAh battery, supporting 120W fast charging via cable and 50W wireless charging. According to information from Poco, users can fully charge the battery in just 34 minutes.

In terms of design, the F7 Ultra has a striking gold finish, along with an elegant black option for those who prefer a discreet look. Both models have glossy accents around the camera cluster. Durability is also emphasized with an IP68 rating that makes the phone water and dust resistant, similar to many high-end phones today.

In terms of software, the phone integrates many AI features, including an AI assistant provided by Google, allowing for text, voice and image processing. Users will experience features such as AI writing, AI interpreter and AI search.

The new product line promises high protection against dust and water.

The Poco F7 Ultra runs on Hyper OS 2 based on Android 15 with a commitment to 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. While not as long as the 7 years of support offered by Google and Samsung, this is still a remarkable commitment in this segment.

With impressive specifications and a reasonable price, the Poco F7 Ultra promises to be an attractive choice for consumers in 2025.
