Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift and Rihanna are among the world's richest celebrities this year, with billion-dollar fortunes, according to new statistics from Forbes magazine.
In 2025, 18 stars will be on the billionaire list, up from four last year. Their combined fortunes will also increase from $31 billion to $39 billion. New faces on the Forbes list, released on April 1, include actor Jerry Seinfeld, Terminator actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, wrestling commentator Vincent McMahon and singer Bruce Springsteen.
Topping the list is director Steven Spielberg - the father of the Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones series - with $5.3 billion. The next positions belong to Star Wars creator George Lucas ($5.1 billion), basketball legend Michael Jordan ($3.5 billion), "media queen" Oprah Winfrey ($3 billion).
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian still holds the billionaire title she has achieved in the past few years, currently owning assets of $1.7 billion. Singers Taylor Swift and Rihanna are the two female artists on the list with $1.6 billion and $1.4 billion. While Taylor Swift became a billionaire thanks to sold-out tours and album sales, Rihanna is rich mainly thanks to her fashion and beauty brands.
