Singer Britney Spears ends her relationship with her boyfriend Paul Soliz - her former housekeeper.
A source told TMZ that Paul Soliz recently moved all of his personal belongings out of Britney's Los Angeles home, where they lived while dating. The two are said to have split in late February.
Paul Soliz and Britney Spears began their relationship in late 2023 after Britney divorced actor Sam Asghari. They broke up in July 2024, then got back together. On Valentine's Day, Paul was seen driving Britney and his stepchildren around. He bought her a bouquet of flowers while the family went out to eat.
Paul Soliz, 37, has known Britney Spears for several years, having been hired to do maintenance and cleaning work at the singer's home. According to Page Six, Britney's security team later discovered that he had a troubled past and fired him. In court documents, Paul was charged with multiple felonies, including possession of drugs for sale and possession of a firearm in December 2020 while working for Britney. Misdemeanors include disorderly conduct, child endangerment and driving without a license.
Paul Soliz has nine children from previous relationships, including three with his recently divorced wife Nicole Mancilla. Last year, Nicole accused Paul of not paying child support and instead trying to move all of the children into Britney's home.
During his time dating Britney, Paul also had a noisy argument with the singer at the Chateau Marmont hotel in May 2024. The source said that Paul and Britney had a heated argument in the hotel room, after which the singer injured her leg and an ambulance was called. In the middle of the night, Britney was escorted home by bodyguards with messy hair and tattered clothes. However, just a few weeks later, they were seen hanging out with Paul's children in the park.
Britney Spears has gone through three failed marriages, has two sons, Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18, with her second husband Kevin Federline. The 43-year-old singer and her third husband split in the summer of 2023 after more than a year of marriage and 7 years together. Sam Asghari wrote that the reason for the breakup was due to irreconcilable differences. In May 2024, the two completed the divorce proceedings amicably.
