Former Hollywood Child Star Dies While Pregnant – Suspected of Stimulant Use.

According to investigators, Sophie Nyweide, 24, was pregnant and suspected of overdosing, leading to death.

Sophie, who starred in many Hollywood films as a child, was found on the banks of a river in Vermont on April 14. TMZ reported that the death certificate stated that Sophie Nyweide was pregnant, and investigators suspect that the actress overdosed on drugs, leading to her death. However, the police have not ruled out any possibility of causing Sophie's death. The investigation and autopsy are still underway.

The actress's body was found near a wooden hut by the river, in the woods in Bennington, Vermont, about 40 km from her home. Sophie is said to have come here to play with a group of friends before passing away at around 5am.

In a conversation with The Daily Mail on April 23, Sophie's mother, actress Shelly Nyweide, said her daughter had a history of using stimulants. "She has been using drugs for quite a long time. We have taken Sophie to many treatment centers," Shelly said.

Shelly Nyweide said that when her daughter turned 18, she could not help much because of the limitations of guardianship over adult children. According to her, Sophie wanted to deal with her problems and refused to accept help from others. Shelly also revealed that her daughter had struggled with psychological trauma as a child, an incident unrelated to the film set. Sophie has been taking her to therapy since she was in 6th grade.

The 63-year-old actress did not say what problems her daughter had, but mentioned that she started donating to a charity that helps people who have been sexually abused when she took her daughter to psychological treatment. In the obituary, Sophie's mother also wanted people to support this charity instead of paying tribute with flowers.

Sophie Nyweide was born in 2000 and has been acting since she was a child. She starred in the movie Bella at the age of 6 and then participated in many Hollywood movies with famous stars Michelle Williams, Jessica Alba, Russell Crowe in the movies Mammoth, An Invisible Sign, Noah... Her last appearance was in the TV show What Would You Do? 2015.

Sophie Nyweide's family said she was always happy on set and showed off her mother's acting talent. She was described as "creative, strong, intelligent beyond her years" and adventurous. The family is shocked and heartbroken by her sudden passing.
