The vegan restaurant chain Neat Burger, co-founded by F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, has decided to close all of its UK locations after six years of operation.
The closure will leave around 150 employees out of work, the Daily Mail reported on April 23. Neat Burger confirmed the difficult decision but declined to comment further. The decision was made because the business was not performing well. In 2022, Neat Burger recorded a loss of £7.9 million, up from £3.2 million the previous year.

Neat Burger was founded in 2019, two years after Lewis Hamilton went vegan. He believes that meat is not only cruel to animals but also contributes to global warming. British media reported that actor Leonardo DiCaprio is a co-founder of the restaurant chain.
Business is not going well, the career of the driver who holds the record of 7 world championships has also declined. Hamilton last won the world championship in 2020, after which his best result was only second place. At the Arabian Grand Prix on April 20, the British star finished 7th. He is also ranked 7th in the individual achievements of the drivers in this year's F1 season.
