Victoria Beckham's wife revealed a video of her dancing affectionately with her husband, former midfielder David Beckham, at a family party ahead of his 50th birthday.
The pair held hands and danced to their favourite song Islands In The Stream by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. "Happy early birthday @davidbeckham... You are my everything, my best friend, my soul mate, and my dance partner for life," Victoria wrote in the caption, along with a red heart emoji. The former England captain turns 50 today.
The fashion designer then borrowed the lyrics to the song to express the couple's feelings. Mrs Becks wrote: "Like the song says: We begin and end as one, in love forever. We can get through this together. I love you." The song also accompanied the fashion icon couple when they danced together in the final scene of the Beckham documentary, which will be released in October 2023.
Vic did not say when the video was filmed, but the Daily Mail reported that the couple held a formal party at their £10 million Cotswolds home on the evening of April 30. Guests dressed smartly in tuxedos and evening gowns, and enjoyed fine cocktails. The party got even more exciting when guests wore tuxedos to go swimming at night.
The back of the youngest son, Cruz, briefly appeared in his mother's video. On his personal page, the 20-year-old posted a photo of himself and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, dressed in matching outfits, who were supposed to attend a family party. Vic's younger sister, Louise Adams, also posted a photo with three of her four children.
Youngest son Cruz and younger sister Vic shared some photos from Becks' early birthday party at their Cotswolds mansion. Photo: Instagram characterBritish media said that eldest son Brooklyn, second son Romeo, and youngest daughter Harper were also present, although no one revealed the photos. The eldest son of the Becks family and his wife, Nicola Peltz, confirmed their return to the UK earlier this week when they posted a photo of them kissing at the Mountain restaurant in Soho, London, on April 29. Brooklyn will reunite with his father for his 50th birthday party, ending all rumors of family conflicts, Daily Mail reported.
According to The Sun, Becks will celebrate his new milestone with a lavish party today at the Core restaurant in London. In addition to relatives of the former England midfielder, famous friends such as actor Tom Cruise and Becks' former teammates from the 1992 class at MU are also expected to attend. Sources said that the chefs at Core spent weeks designing a special menu for the party.
"David is going all out for his 50th birthday, a seemingly low-key dinner party, but it will be memorable. His children, his parents, and Victoria will all be there; it will be a real family event. David threw a big party in Miami for his American friends, but for his actual birthday, May 2, he wants a more intimate ceremony," The Sun said.
