Model Hailey Bieber said Justin Bieber admired his wife when she went through a painful childbirth and encountered dangerous complications.
In an interview with Vogue magazine, released on May 20, Hailey Bieber talked about her experience of giving birth and life after giving birth, taking care of her young son with her husband, Justin Bieber. "Giving birth was the hardest thing I've ever been through," Hailey shared.
Despite spending 9 months training, participating in therapies to improve her health, and help with childbirth, Hailey encountered an unexpected incident. The 27-year-old model said that at the 39th week, her amniotic fluid leaked and she had to induce contractions to give birth: "It was crazy, not comfortable at all. After my water broke, I was in labor for a few hours without an epidural to relieve the pain." After an 18-hour process, baby Jack Blues was born.
But that wasn't the end. Hailey suffered from postpartum hemorrhage (a condition that occurs in about 1 to 5 percent of births), which could be life-threatening if not treated quickly. When she saw a lot of blood, Hailey thought she was going to die. After many hours of undergoing procedures, Justin's wife was safe and returned to her child.
Hailey said that Justin admired her endurance and strength when giving birth, calling her "a goddess, a superhero". Their marriage became more united when baby Jack Blues was born. Hailey also praised Justin as a great father to their son and a husband who always supported her.
Vogue reported that Justin Bieber praised his wife in an email to the magazine. "I've done a lot of stupid things in my life, but the smartest thing I've ever done was marry Hailey," he wrote. He also talked about his happy little family: "I'm living the days I've always dreamed of."
Justin said Hailey is competent, making being a wife and mother easy. The 31-year-old pop star also praised his wife as talented, stylish, good at business, and having a sense of fashion.
The Biebers plan to have more children, but are in no rush to have a second child. The couple wants to spend time taking care of their 9-month-old son, Jack Blues.
