While Realme is actively introducing the Realme GT 7 series in many markets, the company has also confirmed the existence of a new concept phone.
Last month, Honor launched the Honor Power phone with an 8,000 mAh battery, marking a record for the largest battery capacity in the feature phone segment. In response, Realme introduced a concept phone with a giant 10,000 mAh battery, labeled “GT 10000mAh”.
The image released by Realme shows the back of the phone highlighted with the words “10,000mAh” and the slogan “Power That Never Stops”, emphasizing the outstanding feature of the product is the extremely high-capacity battery. This phone model is also equipped with a dual camera system to serve the user's photography needs.
According to Realme, this concept phone uses a high-silicon anode battery with a ratio of 10% - the highest in the smartphone industry. The battery's energy density of up to 887Wh/L allows for a large battery without increasing the weight too much. As a result, the phone is only 8.5mm thick and weighs more than 200 grams.
To optimize the space for the 10,000mAh battery, Realme developed an internal structure called "Mini Diamond Architecture" to create the world's thinnest Android motherboard with a thickness of only 23.4mm and has won more than 60 global patents. The back of the phone is semi-transparent, allowing users to see the internal components, combining aesthetics and innovation.
Realme is expected to hold a global launch event for the Realme GT 7 series later this month, and, likely, the company will also showcase the 10,000mAh GT concept phone at the event. While this product may not be available for sale, it clearly shows Realme’s experimental approach and ambition to push the boundaries of battery capacity in smartphone design.
