Caterina Murino shared the good news with French magazine Gala and revealed: "At this age, I have to rely on medical help. It's not always possible to decide the right time to become a mother."
Caterina and her boyfriend of eight years, lawyer Édouard Rigaud, will welcome a baby boy at the end of the summer, just before she turns 48. The actress said Édouard has supported her throughout her challenging pregnancy journey. She suffered two miscarriages and underwent a difficult IVF process.
After many failures, Caterina feels grateful to finally have the chance to become a mother. The actress is having a smooth pregnancy, feels no discomfort and does not suffer from diabetes or insomnia.
