Ferrari Daytona SP3 has just announced the 600th version with a unique black and yellow color scheme and will be sold through auction.
Ferrari only produced exactly 599 Daytona SP3s worldwide, but recently, the 600th - a special edition with the number "599+1" was created to serve a charity auction program. This super product will be put up for public auction by RM Sotheby's, continuing the tradition of rare Ferrari models that have been auctioned in previous charity events.
Previously, in 2017, also within the framework of the Leggenda e Passione program at the Fiorano racetrack, the last LaFerrari Aperta with the number 210 was successfully sold by RM Sotheby's for a price of up to 8.3 million euros, equivalent to 9.98 million USD, setting a record at that time.
This special Daytona SP3 makes a strong impression with its unique color scheme: yellow and black split the body lengthwise, completely different from the traditional style of dividing the color into the front and rear halves. The interior is also designed separately with individual style seats, creating a completely different look compared to the 599 cars produced.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is the product of the design team led by Flavio Manzoni, inspired by legendary racing cars such as the P3/4, 330 P4, and 412P, icons of the Daytona race in the 1960s.
The front of the car stands out with a powerful splitter and a front bumper reminiscent of the 1967 Ferrari 330 P4, but with a modern twist, with a low nose and extended fenders. The LED headlights have a complex structure with a unique opening and closing mechanism, creating a strong visual highlight. The car has butterfly-wing doors with characteristic air vents, along with a racing-inspired dome windshield.
At the rear, the Daytona SP3 has a true concept design, with horizontal LED strips integrated with taillights, a speed-adjustable spoiler, and a carbon fiber diffuser. Two high-mounted trapezoidal exhaust pipes help optimize the sound from the V12 engine. The car comes with 5-spoke wheels combined with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires developed specifically for the SP3 line.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is equipped with a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing up to 829 horsepower and 697 Nm of maximum torque. This power is transmitted to the rear axle via an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission and a limited-slip differential system. The car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds, affirming its position as one of the most powerful hypercar models today.
The 600th Daytona SP3 is not only a symbol of performance and design but also has a profound humanitarian meaning, as all proceeds from the auction will be used for charity. This promises to be one of the most notable Ferrari supercars in 2025.
