Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Oppo Find N5 are the two thinnest and lightest foldable smartphones in Vietnam, with different design styles.
Galaxy Z Fold7 comes in four colors: black, gray, dark blue, and mint green, while Find N5 comes in two colors: black and white.
Looking from the hinge, the designs of the two models are quite similar, with the common point being that the screen is bent into a water drop shape, helping to evenly distribute pressure to protect and reduce creases better. Both devices are IPX8 water resistant and not dustproof.
They both have buttons on the side, but Samsung places the button lower below the antenna, making it easier to hold and use with one hand when the screen is folded than the Find N5.
When opened, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is 4.2 mm thin, while the Find N5 is 4.21 mm, and the measurements when folded are 8.9 and 8.93 mm, respectively. The difference between the two models is difficult to see with the naked eye.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 weighs 215 grams, 14 grams lighter than the 229 grams of the Find N5, but it feels more comfortable to hold. This may be due to the design of the Find N5's camera cluster, which causes the weight to be unevenly distributed, creating a heavier feeling.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 has a 6.5-inch outer screen, while the Find N5 is 6.62 inches. While Samsung uses a square design for both the bezel and the screen, Oppo's product is curved at all four corners.
The Galaxy Z Fold7's inner screen is 8 inches in size, while the Find N5's is slightly larger at 8.1 inches. Both have 2K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Samsung uses a hole-punch camera on its new model instead of pressing it under the screen like before. However, Oppo's angled layout has less impact on the user experience than Samsung's. In return, the Galaxy Z Fold7 has a thinner outer bezel than the Find N5.
