Apple to launch new product on February 19, possibly iPhone SE 4.

Apple is promising a new product launch on February 19, most likely the iPhone SE 4 or iPhone 16E according to recent rumors.

"Get ready to meet the newest member of the family," CEO Tim Cook posted on X with the announcement of the time next Wednesday, February 19 and the hashtag #AppleLaunch. He did not reveal any information about the product other than an animated image of the company's logo.

Bloomberg tech expert Mark Gurman, who often has accurate Apple rumors, confirmed that Tim Cook was talking about the new iPhone SE.

Information about the "cheap" iPhone model has appeared densely recently and is the most notable product of Apple launched at the beginning of the year. The device may be called iPhone SE 4, the lowest price in the iPhone line and also the biggest upgrade of this line since its appearance in 2016. The iPhone SE series has a certain number of loyal users thanks to its compact size but does not contribute much to the sales of Apple's phone range.

According to MacRumors, the device will remove the physical Home button, have a similar design to the iPhone 14 and use a network modem developed by Apple instead of using Qualcomm chips as before. The front still has a rabbit ear design, a 6.1-inch screen size and uses an OLED panel for the first time.

The SE 4 features a single camera with an image sensor upgraded from 12 to 48 megapixels. Some sources say Apple has sought to reduce costs by having BOE, Apple's cheapest display supplier, produce 70% of the SE 4's screens.

In addition to the SE 4 name, some sources predict that Apple will use the iPhone 16E name to match the current iPhone line.
