Tech expert Mark Gurman has revealed information about Apple's product update plans for early next year.
Accordingly, Apple is expected to launch many new products in 2025, including MacBook Air, improved iPhone SE, iPad Air and low-cost iPad around spring.
In particular, the new MacBook Air is expected to be equipped with an M4 chip and have a similar design to the version launched in 2022. Apple is producing two new MacBook Air models with 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, codenamed J713 and J715. The MacBook Air version using the M4 chip is expected to be available on the market from January to March.
In addition, Apple has also decided to delay the release of the new high-end Mac Studio. Although the launch date has not been determined, this product is expected to come with an M4 chip that promises to bring many significant improvements, including ray tracing technology and advanced AI processing capabilities thanks to the neural processor.
In addition, Apple is developing an M4 chip version for the Mac Pro, expected to launch between March and June, to improve AI processing capabilities across the entire Mac product line.
During the same spring product release cycle, Apple will also introduce a revamped iPhone SE, new iPad Air models, and an upgraded iPad keyboard. According to sources, the 11th-generation low-end iPad, codenamed J481 and J482, will also be released during this time.
Finally, the 2025 iPhone is still in development, with the iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to replace the iPhone 16 Plus, expected to be the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever made. The company is also planning to launch a new home device with a small square screen, indicating Apple's continued focus on the smart home market.
