Users want to return Galaxy S25 due to worrying problem.

Soon after the Galaxy S25 series was released to customers, concerns about the product's overheating capabilities emerged.

Reports showed that three smartphones using the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip before the Galaxy S25 series had experienced overheating issues. According to technology expert Yogesh Brar, the Galaxy S25 series is no exception. He said that while the Galaxy S25 Ultra only slightly overheated, the standard version had more serious problems.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite promises around 40% faster performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is used in the Galaxy S24 series. However, performance improvements often come with the risk of overheating. Although the Galaxy S25 series is equipped with a 40% larger vapor chamber to improve heat dissipation, it seems that this is still not enough to prevent overheating.

Things became clearer when just one day after the product was released (February 7), social networks were flooded with complaints from users about this issue. One user on Reddit shared: "Has anyone found their Galaxy S25 Ultra quite hot during normal use and extremely hot when charging?" Many others also said that their devices got hot even when performing light tasks like browsing social networks.

One user expressed concern: "My device was so hot that I could feel it through the case. I upgraded from the Galaxy S24 due to overheating and now I might not go back to the Galaxy S25 if the update doesn't fix this issue.” Meanwhile, another said their device almost burned their hand when they first turned it on.

However, not all users have experienced overheating, suggesting that the issue may not be widespread. Some have suggested that it is normal for phones to heat up during setup, although many have experienced this after using their devices for days.

A review of the Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra by tech expert PhoneArena found that they did not experience overheating. However, given the number of complaints, Samsung may have to quickly release an update to address the issue.
