Apple Watch could become an AI device with integrated camera.

Future Apple Watches may incorporate cameras to support AI features.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is planning to equip future Apple Watch models, especially the Apple Watch Ultra, with a camera system.

The camera will be located on the right side of the watch, near the Digital Crown. However, the camera will likely not support the FaceTime feature, but instead, it will be designed for Visual Intelligence features.

Visual Intelligence allows Apple Watch users to quickly identify information about nearby objects or locations. For example, users can point the camera at a restaurant to see opening hours.

This feature was introduced on the iPhone 16 series and will be updated to the iPhone 15 Pro duo in the upcoming iOS 18.4 version.

Additionally, Apple is also considering integrating small cameras into some future AirPods, opening up the possibility of adding more AI features to both the Apple Watch and AirPods.
