Motorola to launch Edge 60 Fusion in India on April 2, with 1.5K curved display, 50MP camera, and impressive 5,200mAh battery.
Motorola is set to launch the Edge 60 Fusion in India on April 2. The company has already revealed some key details about the device, including a 1.5K fully curved display, military-grade certification, and a Sony LYT700C sensor for the main camera.
According to the leak, the Edge 60 Fusion measures 161 x 73 x 7.95 mm and weighs 178 grams. The 6.7-inch curved pOLED display has a resolution of 2712×1220, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a maximum brightness of up to 4,500 nits.
In terms of cameras, the Edge 60 Fusion is equipped with a dual camera setup on the back, with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary sensor with OIS support and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera capable of macro shots. The selfie camera on the front has a resolution of 32MP.
The phone will come with a 5,200 mAh battery and support for 68W TurboPower charging, however, the charger will not be included in the box. The Edge 60 Fusion is also highly durable with an IP68/IP69 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification.
One point of contention is the phone's chipset. Leaks suggest the Edge 60 Fusion will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, while an earlier report mentioned the Dimensity 7400, a new processor that was launched in February. Despite the difference in names, both chips have similar core architectures, so actual performance may not differ much.
Motorola seems to be switching from Qualcomm to MediaTek this year. The chipset will be paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of uMCP storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. On the software front, the Edge 60 Fusion will run Android 15 out of the box.
