Leaked specs suggest that the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will be a gaming tablet with powerful specs and long battery life.
A recent report suggests that the Chinese market will see the launch of three flagship tablets in the first half of this year: Oppo Pad 4 Pro, Vivo Pad 4 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 7s Pro. These devices are powered by powerful processors such as Snapdragon 8 Elite, Dimensity 9400, and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
Notably, information from blogger @DigitalChatStation said that OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will also be launched soon during this time. Accordingly, Pad 2 Pro will use Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and is expected to be available in the Chinese market in the first half of 2025.
This tablet has a 13.2-inch custom LCD screen with 3.4K resolution. Designed with the goal of serving gaming needs, OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will come with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 memory. In addition, the device is also equipped with a battery capacity of about 10,000 mAh, supporting 67W or 80W fast charging. In terms of camera, the device will have an 8-megapixel front sensor and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
Previously, OnePlus launched OnePlus Pad Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in June 2024. Just a few months later, Oppo also introduced the Oppo Pad 3 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition chipset.
However, the core specifications of the two devices remain similar. Therefore, it is likely that the Oppo Pad 4 Pro will have a similar design to the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, with a 13.2-inch LCD display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and 80W charging support.
