Poco F7 Pro launch puts iPhone 16e to shame.

Xiaomi has officially launched the Poco F7 Pro for the global market at a very affordable price.

The Poco F7 Pro will replace both the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro, at least for now, as the Poco F7 has yet to be announced, while the Poco F7 Ultra is for the higher-end segment. According to leaks, Xiaomi is expected to launch a cheaper version of the Poco F7 later this year in India.

The Poco F7 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution, with a maximum brightness of up to 1,800 nits. In particular, the brightness can reach 3,200 nits when viewing HDR content on a small part of the screen. The display also integrates an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a 20MP front camera.

For the camera, the Poco F7 Pro has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.6 aperture taken from the high-end Poco F7 Ultra model. However, the 8MP ultra-wide camera on the Poco F7 Pro is somewhat weaker.

In addition, the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor has been replaced by the less powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, although it still ensures strong performance because this is the chip on high-end smartphones last year. The device comes with a 6,000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging but does not support wireless charging.

Powered by last year's flagship chip, the Poco F7 Pro is a truly remarkable mid-range machine.

Xiaomi is committed to providing 4 major Android OS updates from Android 15 onwards and 6 years of security patches for the Poco F7 Pro. The starting price of the product is $ 499 US Dollars for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory version. Users can choose the double storage version for $ 549 US Dollars.

With powerful hardware specifications and a maximum price of only about $ 546.98 US Dollars, the Poco F7 Pro is truly one of the mid-range products worth considering at the present time. Compared to the iPhone 16e with a selling price of 663.80 US Dollars with many limited features, this is definitely an option worth making the iPhone manufacturer reconsider its pricing policy.
