Former England midfielder David Beckham has admitted to having obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), including a habit of being tidy that sometimes annoys his wife Victoria and their children.
"I'm very tidy, to the point where I get quite tired of it every day. Sometimes it annoys my wife and children," he told Becks while attending the launch of a supplement brand at the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach on April 8.
However, the former England star also told his family that "without Dad, everything would be messy, and people would forget things".
During the product launch, Becks made the audience laugh when he adjusted red food bottles arranged in a pyramid shape on stage. "This is a bit crooked", he said as he did it, causing everyone to laugh.
Previously, in the 2023 Beckham documentary on Netflix, the Inter Miami CF co-owner said: "I have obsessive-compulsive disorder, everything has to be in a straight line or in pairs". He also said in an episode of the four-part series: "I keep a can of Pepsi in the fridge and if there is an extra can, I put it in another fridge... everything has to be perfect".
