Rachel Sung's viral photo.

On April 1, Rachel Sung shared on her personal page a series of photos of her beach vacation with friends. The Chinese American table tennis player received a lot of compliments from fans. "She really deserves the title of table tennis goddess," commented a Chinese social media member. "Too perfect," the angelasong account praised Rachel Sung. "She has a really beautiful face and figure. She looks so pretty, and her skin is white," wrote another person.

Some people commented that Rachel Sung's figure is a bit fragile, not like an athlete. Some people said that Rachel Sung lives in the US, so she doesn't have to face the same pressure as domestic athletes: "For Chinese American athletes like Gia Vu, table tennis is just a job to support themselves, unlike the Chinese national team with greater pressure."

Rachel Sung was born in 2004 in the US, in a Chinese family. She started playing table tennis at the age of 7 and won gold medals in doubles and team events at the 2023 Pan American Games and silver medals in doubles and team events at the 2021 ITTF World Junior Championships. Rachel was part of the US team at the 2024 Olympics but was eliminated in the first round.

Rachel Sung achieved many high achievements in the US table tennis team.

Rachel Sung has publicly admitted that she idolizes Fan Zhendong, the world's number one male table tennis player. In an interview before the 2024 Olympics, she said: "If I could play mixed doubles, I would like to pair up with Fan Zhendong. I have liked him for a long time. I first met him in China in 2014. He is very cute." However, Rachel Sung's message was not responded to by Zhendong.

In addition to her passion for table tennis, Rachel Sung is studying at the University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in cognitive science, specializing in computer programming, with a minor in film, television and media.
