In the first year of getting used to IF, the mother of three arranged her eating schedule according to the 4:4:12 rule. In which breakfast is 4 hours from lunch, lunch is 4 hours from dinner, and dinner is 12 hours from the next morning. After the body adapted to this schedule, Ha Minh Phuc gradually increased the fasting time to 16 hours, eating within 8 hours, which means the first meal of the day is eaten within 12 hours, and dinner is at 7:00 p.m.

Along with mealtimes, she controls the amount of food she eats in each meal by estimating the nutritional ratio of her hand or dividing it by plate: 40% fiber, 30% protein, 20% starch, 10% good fat. This rule helps Ha Minh Phuc still enjoy home-cooked meals with her family and applies it to parties, gatherings with friends, or when traveling without affecting her eating plan much.

"At first, of course, I couldn't avoid feeling hungry, but later I realized that it was a feeling of being addicted to sugar and that my body wasn't really hungry. After about 8 weeks, this condition improved significantly, and I no longer craved food," said the mother of three.

"I currently wear size S clothes, lost 10 kg and have not gained weight again. She also said that the most common mistake that many people make when applying intermittent fasting is snacking during the fasting period and eating too much during the eating period.
