Apple's new move makes fans "excited".

 Recently, Apple announced the free recycling of its devices before Earth Day.

Ahead of Earth Day - April 22, Apple added a banner to its website reminding customers that they can recycle their Apple devices "for free" with the company's recycling partners. This process will be implemented by Apple in many countries. Customers can submit a form to receive a prepaid shipping label for their device.

Apple said:

“We will recycle your Apple devices, cables, cases, accessories, and other similar electronics for free. From there, you can protect the earth's precious resources and reduce waste. Let's work together towards a better future for the planet."

Additionally, Apple also shared a new "Recycling Robot" video on its UK YouTube channel. Accordingly, the company said that its recycling robot can recover recyclable materials from 23 different iPhone models.

“Our custom recycling robot Daisy can disassemble 23 different iPhone models to recover critical materials like gold and rare earth elements. The Dave robot will extract the tungsten from the Taptic Engines while the Taz robot takes care of the sound modules. They are leading the way in reclaiming recyclable materials for the next generation of products.”

Apple will soon release its 2024 Environmental Progress Report and share other Earth Day announcements in the coming days. This move of Apple received great support from consumers.
