HyperOS has begun to be rolled out to Xiaomi phone users, bringing them many valuable features.

Replacing the old MIUI interface with HyperOS has brought a lot of interesting things to users of some devices from Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO. Once they receive this interface via an update, users will have access to new features on HyperOS, some of which cannot be missed.

The Gallery app is smarter.

One of the smart new features in HyperOS involves the Gallery app. Users can now isolate subjects in photos and change the background. In the first case, the user must tap on the subject they want to split for a few seconds, the application will perform the necessary cropping operations and then simply save the new image or send it via email.

To change the background, the process involves first touching the three vertical points, located at the top right. Then select the Art option and select your preferred wallpaper and image to which the changes will be applied. Just wait a few seconds, the background of the image will be changed.

Create custom lock screens.

HyperOS also allows users to customize the lock screen. Users can change the font color and apply depth effects to move the clock and date behind the background image.

On the other hand, users can now choose three lock screen styles including Classic, Rhombus and Magazine. The first style is the most minimalist allowing users to choose from several clock and date display styles. Rhombus and Magazine styles allow users to create effects, which are then applied to the selected theme. Simply select the effects and then apply them in a way that suits the user's personal preferences.

Control center is simpler.

When updating devices to HyperOS, users will also notice a difference in the control center as they become simpler. Feature icons no longer display captions describing their function but are simply icons.

But if you prefer captions, you can make changes in the Settings menu. Then, select the notification and status bar options before turning off the option to not show icon labels.

Uninstall bloatware applications.

For a long time, Xiaomi was criticized for the amount of pre-installed applications (bloatware) and the difficulty of removing them. With HyperOS, uninstalling so-called bloatware is much simpler, including more apps. The best part is that it is also possible to uninstall applications from the system itself to improve the terminal's performance and save internal memory space.
