The latest leak suggests that the Galaxy S25 Edge will not sacrifice performance for a thinner body.
Samsung is preparing to launch its thinnest flagship ever, the Galaxy S25 Edge. Information about this product has been widely shared in the past. Recently, the Korean variant of the Galaxy S25 Edge was tested on Geekbench, thereby confirming the information about the processor of the device.
The Galaxy S25 Edge variant has the model number SM-S937N and will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a higher clocked version exclusive to Samsung devices. The single-core and multi-core performance scores of the device are similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
What's worth noting is the processing power of the Galaxy S25 Edge with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Previously, the standard Galaxy S25 had been experiencing overheating when performing heavy tasks for a long time, despite being equipped with a larger cooling system than the Galaxy S24. With its larger size, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to have better cooling capabilities than the smallest Galaxy S25 model. However, we will have to wait until the launch date to verify the cooling efficiency of this product.
