Pixel 9 will be officially launched by Google next August.
Although it won't be until next August that Google officially launches the new Pixel series, according to images shared on social networks, it seems that Pixel 9 was suddenly sold in Algeria. Twitter user @hanibioud posted a close-up video of the pink Pixel 9 with 256GB of storage.
This is a color that has never appeared on Google's previous Pixel lines. This youthful pink color may mark a change in Google's design strategy, moving away from the usual black, white, and blue colors.
Pixel 9 has a flat frame and a new horizontal camera cluster. The overall design reminds many people of the iPhone. Of course, more detailed reviews need to wait until the product is officially launched. But at least, users will no longer complain about boredom compared to previous Pixel generations.
The outstanding pink color of the Pixel 9 is said to be aimed at female users. Previously, Google often offered blue or green color options for the Pixel line. For example, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro come in Bay and Mint colors, and the Pixel 8a comes in a striking green color.
Google plans to officially launch the Pixel 9 on August 13, several months earlier than the usual time in October. This may be Google's strategy to compete directly with the iPhone.
