The Galaxy S25 Just Did What No Samsung Phone Has Done in 5 Years.

The Galaxy S25 series has recorded impressive success in the Korean market, reaching sales of over 1 million units in just 21 days.

This milestone was achieved 4 days faster than the Galaxy Note 10 - the previous record holder. This record also marks the biggest success of a Samsung flagship phone in the past 5 years in Korea.

Even though not much has changed compared to its predecessor.

Although the Galaxy S25 offers only minor improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy S24, demand for the series has been strong. The Galaxy S24 outsold the Galaxy S23 series, and the Galaxy S25 continued that trend by breaking sales records in the domestic market.

According to Chosun Biz, Samsung announced that the Galaxy S25 sold over 1 million units in 21 days, a week faster than the Galaxy S24, which took 28 days to reach the same milestone. During the 11-day pre-order period, Samsung received 1.3 million orders for the Galaxy S25, although not all of them translated into sales.

In particular, the Galaxy S25 Ultra version accounted for about 50% of total sales thanks to its titanium design and impressive 200 MP camera. Popular color options include Titanium Silver Blue and White Silver, while Ice Blue and Silver Shadow are top picks for the Galaxy S25+ and regular Galaxy S25.

The Galaxy S25 series still attracts a lot of customers.

One of the key factors contributing to this success is Samsung's new subscription program, which allows users to own the Galaxy S25 in monthly installments. After a year, they can return the device for just 50% of the original price. The report said that 1 in 5 buyers opted for the subscription, with 60% of subscribers in their 20s and 30s.

To maintain the sales momentum, Samsung will offer Korean customers a 10,000 mAh wireless power bank for just 5,000 won when they buy the Galaxy S25. In addition, customers will receive a free 6-month subscription to Google One AI.
