On April 21, the Uzbekistan U17 team was solemnly welcomed at Tashkent International Airport after returning from Saudi Arabia with the 2025 AFC U17 Championship title. Uzbekistan Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov personally went to the airport to welcome Mr. Islombek Ismoilov and his team. At the ceremony, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov read a congratulatory letter from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and a decree awarding the entire team.

Head coach Islombek Ismoilov was awarded the title "Master of Sports of Uzbekistan" in recognition of his contribution to the development of youth football in Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, the players received the "Building the Future" medal - one of the country's noble sports titles.

In addition, each member of the team was awarded a Chevrolet car. Coach Islombek Ismoilov received an Equinox while the players were given a Cobalt model. As the U17 players are not old enough to drive, this award is given to their parents.

"Our country has always been a land of heroes and brave people. The players have proven it once again on the pitch. I thank the boys for completing this seemingly impossible task," Coach Islombek Ismoilov told the media after leading Uzbekistan to become the U17 Asian champions.

Uzbekistan won the U17 Asian championship convincingly, winning all 6 matches in the tournament. In the group stage, they defeated Thailand (4-1), China (2-1), and Saudi Arabia (3-0). The Central Asian team then beat the UAE 3-1 in the quarter-finals, defeated North Korea 3-0 in the semi-finals, and continued to beat Saudi Arabia 2-0 in the rematch in the final. Along with the championship, Uzbekistan won a ticket to the 2025 U17 World Cup, taking place in November this year in Qatar.
